Forklift Operator
Our client, a leading player in the logistics industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse team supporting efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to adapt to changing environments, which will align successfully with the organization's goals. This is a 6-month assignment. Job Title: Forklift Operator Location: Brooklyn, NY Pay Range: $19 - $19.50 per hour Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:45 AM
4:30 PM, Friday 7:45 AM - 3:15 PM Duration: 6 months What's the Job? Prepare shipping and receiving orders under limited supervision. Load and unload trucks using a forklift or hand truck as required. Package small items for UPS and/or Postal Service shipments. Maintain accurate packing slips and track shipments ready for dispatch. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently while securing materials for shipping. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of warehouse experience. Valid forklift operator license required. OSHA certificate. Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and safety instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
