NATURE AND SCOPE: Under the supervision of the Director of Development Operations, the Development Operations Specialist is responsible for implementing process improvements across the gift entry and acknowledgement cycle for philanthropy donations. RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to): Gift Entry Processes: Manage daily gift entry & process all donations made to the YMCA of Metro Atlanta association. Create a stewardship calendar. Donor Acknowledgement: Create donor centric acknowledgement letters and other donor-centered communications for the association. Develop a year-round acknowledgment plan including creating templates for acknowledgment letters with a focus on segmentation based on giving trends. Acknowledge all gifts made to the association. Pledge Collection: Provide strategy and support to recognize dollars for committed pledges resulting in a year-round pledge collection plan. Create and send pledge reminders for all unpaid pledges on a quarterly basis. Online Giving: In collaboration with the Development Operations team, manage the Y's donor-facing online giving platform, build reports, and dashboards to track progress. Data Analysis and Reporting: Identify key indicators and processes within philanthropy to stay relevant with trends across the Y movement. Analyze and track data in Salesforce NPSP to help drive strategic fundraising decisions, building & managing association mailing and event lists. Create reports to support branch and association fundraising efforts. Data Enrichment and Hygiene: Research relevant data points to be captured in the donor database to enrich donor profiles. Identify duplication within the database and create and implement a plan to ensure a clean and accurate system. Events and Communications Database Support: In collaboration with the Events Manager, Director of Development Operations, and the Chief Philanthropy Officer, ensure that association mailing and event lists are accurate and up to date. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience managing multiple projects OR High school diploma/GED and 4+ years of experience managing multiple projects Must have demonstrated ability to manage tasks effectively with minimal supervision Must be detail-oriented and must be able to maintain the Y's data with a high degree of excellence and confidentiality. Must have strong relational skills in person, by phone, and in written communications Must have working knowledge of relevant software

Salesforce NPSP or like donor software, Microsoft 365, and Adobe Acrobat. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects Experience managing Click & Pledge, or a similar online giving platform, and generating documents using Conga Composer Strong Salesforce NPSP experience Ergonomics: Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for long periods of time.
