Description
We are looking for someone to work and grow with the firm. This is a senior-level litigation paralegal position. As such, the candidate will be responsible for helping manage medical malpractice cases along with various types of complex personal injury cases throughout the litigation process.
The candidate will also be responsible for overseeing other paralegals in the firm.
As a member of the team, you are directly contributing to the clients' successful outcomes and futures.

We are searching for a proactive, driven, forward-thinking senior-level Litigation Paralegal. The Litigation Paralegal's responsibilities will include assisting in client meetings, case management, medical records evaluations, heavy document drafting, research, and e-filing. During the process, you will be required to collaborate with a team on each case.
You must have personal injury litigation experience, experience dealing with medical records, exceptional communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail. You should be a litigation paralegal with at least 7-10 years of medical malpractice and/or personal injury litigation experience.

Responsibilities
•Meets with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects. •Drafts legal documents, including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, and interrogatories; files motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures. •Researches and analyzes statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provides written analysis to attorneys. •Interviews clients and witnesses and prepares summaries of their statements. •Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items. •Assists attorneys with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings. •Analyzes medical records in a manner to provide deep insight to the appropriate attorney, including medical summaries. •Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
•7-10 years of experience handling civil litigation matters, and specifically medical malpractice and personal injury claims. •Approach problem-solving proactively and have the ability to both work independently and collaborate with peers. •Motivated, reliable, and able to work within a professional firm environment. •Exceptional research and strong legal writing abilities. •Ability to meet deadlines. •Capability to follow detailed instructions. •Must be able to work well in a team environment, have exceptional interpersonal communication skills, and have a strong desire to develop and advance their legal career. •Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. •Perceptive and meticulous. •Capacity to regulate and perform under stress. •Ability to stay focused on numerous details while maintaining a high level of accuracy. •Anticipating attorneys' needs, identifying problems, and finding solutions •Ability to meet deadlines. •Experience with legal document management systems. •Experience using firm software and case management programs, and office productivity (Office 365, Filevine, and Lead Docket).
