Schedule:

Full Time; Monday 9am-6pm, Tuesday 9am-7:30pm, Wednesday 8am-1pm, Thursday 9am-7:30pm, Friday 9am-4pm, Saturday 8:30am-1:30pm (once per month). You will have Wednesday off if you work on Saturday.

Your Role:

As a Medical Assistant, you will:

• Provide exceptional care to patients while adhering to AdventHealth service standards.
• Efficiently gather clinical, financial, and demographic information from patients.
• Assist providers during treatments and examinations, including procedures and medication administration.
• Handle office duties such as insurance verification, copay collection, and appointment scheduling.

What You Bring:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• One year of practical medical assisting experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish/English strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of healthcare and medical terminology
• Ability to handle stress and work effectively in fast-paced environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and professional demeanor
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Valid credentials: CMA-AAMA, NCMA-NCTT, or NAHP Nat'l Reg Cert Med Asst required
