Hoosier Mama Pie Company in Evanston is seeking a talented bakery sous chef to join our team. Two years of previous kitchen experience, including some management responsibilities, are required. Should be creative and genuinely enjoy working with food. Must be reliable with a solid grasp of basic baking techniques and food service sanitation practices. Responsibilities include creating a prep list, assigning tasks, ensuring quality, and collaborating with the team to develop new recipes. Experience baking seasonally and sourcing locally is a plus. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday and Saturday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.   Please email a brief cover letter and resume. What inspires you in the kitchen?
