Reveler’s Hour is a wine and pasta focused restaurant in Washington DC.  Reveler’s Hour is from the same restaurant group that brought you Tail Up Goat, a Michelin starred, James Beard nominated restaurant. We place a strong emphasis on sustainability, seasonal cooking and responsible sourcing.  We are looking for  full time line cooks  -  someone who reflects these passions and is interested in being part of an inclusive, professional and positivity based working environment.   



Line Cook Job Responsibilities:


  • Setting up and helping to prep station for service
  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
  • Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
  • Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces during and at the end of the shift.
  • Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Line Cook Qualifications/Skills:


  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Follows directions and instructions

Education and Experience Requirements


  • One to two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
  • Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred
  • Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
  • Familiar with industry best practices

Pay is $21-24/hr based on experience.  In addition to your hourly rate, you earn tips as well based on hours worked.
