Job Overview:
The Group General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation of Kuma Hospitality Group at 412 Greenwich Street, which includes Michelin-starred l’abeille and Sushi Ichimura, as well as Michelin recommended l’abeille à côté, alongside a team of Restaurant Managers. The Group General Manager is responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience and managing staffing and day to day operation of the restaurants.
Key Responsibilities
Employee relations, onboarding, retention, review, and recruitment
Service (education + assistance during operations)
Guest experiences, resolve potential issues + maintain positive guest feedback
Establishing and maintaining protocols and processes
Financials (ensuring company goals are met) + payroll processing
Management team training + development
General operations, inventory management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fine dining/Michelin star rated restaurants in a management position
- Extensive knowledge of restaurant and team management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale systems
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Toast POS systems
- ResyOS and OpenTable reservation systems
- Basic accounting and budgeting skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Extended periods of standing
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Compensation:
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience: $90k to $125k
