Responsibilities:

  • Craft and serve world-class cocktails with precision, creativity, and artistry, embodying BarChef’s unique philosophy and modernist techniques.

  • Perfectly describe the menu—explaining BarChef’s modernist cocktail approach, highlighting how each component should be consumed, and detailing the ingredients and techniques used.

  • Engage guests in meaningful conversations about BarChef’s innovative cocktail offerings, delivering exceptional service and ensuring guests are informed and excited about their choices.

  • Maintain an impeccable knowledge of BarChef’s signature cocktails, spirits, and modernist techniques, staying up-to-date with any menu changes and innovations.

  • Curate personalized drink experiences, anticipating guests’ preferences and tailoring recommendations based on their taste profiles.

  • Prepare and execute cocktails with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality with each drink served.

  • Coordinate seamlessly with the Service (FOH) and Modernist (BOH) teams, ensuring a smooth and synchronized service experience.

  • Actively contribute to the overall guest experience, providing friendly, approachable service in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organization behind the bar, ensuring all tools, ingredients, and equipment are maintained to BarChef’s world-class standards.

  • Continuously strive to improve your craft, keeping up with industry trends and techniques while contributing to the ongoing evolution of BarChef’s menu and hospitality approach.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned, always in line with BarChef’s ethos of excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working as a mixologist or bartender in a high-end cocktail bar or fine dining setting.

  • Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, modernist techniques, and ingredient pairings, with a deep understanding of BarChef’s menu and philosophy.

  • Strong mixology skills, with the ability to execute both classic and innovative cocktails with precision and creativity.

  • Exceptional communication and guest engagement skills, with the ability to educate guests about the BarChef experience and foster memorable connections.

  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining an elevated, personalized level of service.

  • Impeccable attention to detail, ensuring consistency and precision in every drink served.

  • A proactive and organized approach to work, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving environment.

  • Refined personal presentation and professionalism, aligned with BarChef’s upscale and innovative atmosphere.

  • Weekend availability is essential.
