The Lead Line Cook plays a key role in our kitchen team, overseeing daily prep and service on the line while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. This position combines hands-on cooking with leadership responsibilities, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and mentoring junior staff.
Key ResponsibilitiesLine Leadership:
Oversee assigned station(s) during service, ensuring food leaves the kitchen on time and to specification..
Food Preparation & Execution:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and plating standards.
Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation.
Execute prep work and mise en place with accuracy and efficiency.
Quality & Safety:
Uphold strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
Monitor ingredient freshness and communicate supply needs.
Team Development:
Assist in training and mentoring BOH team
Promote a positive, professional, and respectful kitchen culture.
Organization & Efficiency:
Manage station setup and breakdown.
Help with inventory, receiving, and storage of products.
Communicate effectively with both front- and back-of-house teams.
Minimum 3 years’ cooking experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety protocols.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Must be able to work nights + weekends
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot, fast-moving environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
