As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our upscale casual Filipino restaurant. You will be responsible for overseeing a specific kitchen station, ensuring smooth operations, and upholding excellence in flavor, presentation, and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee a designated station in the kitchen (hot line, cold station, grill, or pastry).
• Ensure that each dish meets the restaurant’s culinary standards before serving.
• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and presentations that reflect authentic and modern Filipino cuisine.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and food safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to ensure consistency and quality.
• Train and guide commis chefs and other kitchen staff in proper techniques and procedures.
• Monitor inventory and ensure proper ingredient usage to minimize food waste.
• Adapt quickly and efficiently to special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in an upscale casual or fine dining restaurant.
• Strong understanding of Filipino cuisine and its modern interpretations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality cooking standards.
• Proficiency in food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience through well-executed dishes.
