Golden Age Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the charge at one of our lively, high-volume venues. The ideal candidate is eager to immerse themselves in every facet of hospitality, from service to systems, and thrives in a bustling, fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone who brings both precision and warmth, leading by example and inspiring excellence across the board.
You’ll be at the heart of the guest experience, shaping service standards, developing a passionate team, and partnering closely with culinary, bar, and corporate leadership to ensure every shift runs smoothly and memorably.
What You’ll DoCreate outstanding guest experiences through genuine relationship building and consistent service excellence
Lead, mentor, and hold the team accountable, participating in service and coaching in real time
Partner with the kitchen and bar teams to uphold high standards across food, drink, and hospitality
Align reservation strategy with business needs alongside our maître d’ and host teams
Recruit, hire, train, and develop top-tier talent while managing performance and creating positive team culture
Build schedules that support service excellence and meet labor targets
Oversee venue maintenance and coordinate with facilities, vendors, and engineers
Manage inventory and supply orders for FOH operations and support the bar team in prep and par-level upkeep
Collaborate with the events department to execute seamless private events and large parties
Lead engaging, purposeful staff meetings and ensure clear communication across teams
Handle guest and staff issues with empathy, professionalism, and resolve
Work both independently and collaboratively to meet goals and drive long-term success
3+ years of management experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar
Proven ability to manage systems while maintaining a strong floor presence
Excellent people management skills—able to lead, motivate, and grow a team
Deep understanding of operational best practices and guest experience principles
Familiarity with natural wine, cocktails, and spirits is a plus
Experience with platforms like Toast, 7Shifts, Resy, Google Suite, Tripleseat, and Slack
Flexible schedule with consistent weekend (including Sunday) availability
Ability to work 50 hours/week, including opening and closing shifts
Monthly travel allowance
Two weeks of paid vacation (available after 90 days)
