Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced
Power Apps Developer
to work with the clients development team. The successful candidate will have proven experience in building business applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and integrating them with various data sources. The developer will collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and IT teams to design, develop, and maintain applications that streamline processes and improve productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement
canvas apps
and
model-driven apps
using Microsoft Power Apps. Automate workflows using
Power Automate
and integrate with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and external APIs. Customize and extend Microsoft Dataverse (formerly Common Data Service). Develop custom connectors to integrate with third-party systems. Work closely with business users to gather requirements, create prototypes, and deliver production-ready solutions. Optimize applications for performance, usability, and scalability. Prepare technical documentation and conduct user training. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure minimal downtime. Qualifications:
3+ years
of experience in Microsoft Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Proficiency in creating both canvas and model-driven Power Apps. Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and API integrations. Familiarity with Power Fx, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for app customization. Understanding of governance, security roles, and best practices in Power Platform. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Nice to Have:
Microsoft Power Platform certification(s) (e.g., PL-100, PL-200). Experience in the insurance or financial services industry. Familiarity with Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management).
