DECAL Project Manager

will oversee the full lifecycle of projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery in alignment with CAPS program objectives. This role requires strategic coordination with internal teams, vendors, partner agencies, and stakeholders, applying project management best practices to achieve operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Directly oversee all aspects of assigned projects with full accountability. Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and create mitigation strategies. Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Manage changes to project scope and requirements proactively. Create a product roadmap aligned with CAPS' needs. Collaborate with DECAL IT, vendors, agencies, and SMEs to meet milestones. Supervise the project coordinator's documentation and action tracking. Coordinate activities of multi-functional teams, dependencies, and schedules. Facilitate team communication and foster collaboration. Lead project planning sessions with multiple stakeholders. Deliver projects using SAFe, Scrum, and Agile methodologies. Support test plan creation and issue management processes. Track deliverable adherence and report progress to leadership. Provide regular updates to stakeholders via reports/presentations. Develop and guide the project team to achieve successful outcomes. Contribute to the CAPS Program Administration unit and support other team members as needed. Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university. Five years of recent, relevant project management experience. Nice-to-Have Experience:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Salesforce platform experience. Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and other software development methodologies. Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.). Experience measuring staff effort on technical project tasks. Document management and version control expertise. Skilled at gathering and presenting information to various stakeholder levels. Experience managing projects with multiple teams. Required Skills:

Work performed in an office environment with intermittent sitting, standing, and walking. Ability to speak clearly, hear at normal levels, and process detailed information verbally. Close visual acuity for data analysis, computer use, and document review. Full hand and finger mobility for data entry.
