A high school diploma or GED is required. Prior maintenance experience is required, preferably in multifamily housing. HVAC experience is preferred. Having EPA certification (Type II or Universal) is a plus. Ability to complete general apartment maintenance and repairs. Experienced with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other building systems. Must be able to take after-hours calls. Must have basic tools and dependable transportation. The ability to effectively present information to residents, employees, and vendors. The ability to walk the property frequently and regularly while being exposed to outside weather conditions. Position duties:
Oversight and upkeep of all buildings, grounds, and amenities Completing service requests and preparing vacant apartments for occupancy. Timely response to all repair requests including after-hours calls. Overseeing the care, maintenance, and inventory of all supplies and equipment Operating within OSHA and EPA standards as well as follow all Fair Housing regulations.
