Job Description
We are seeking a
contract UX Product Designer
to join our UX Product Design team, focusing on customer self-service experiences across multiple lines of business (Auto, Home, Renters, etc.)-with an emphasis on
billing, payments, and policy changes .
In this role, you will design user-centered solutions that emphasize ease of use, follow best-in-class interaction design practices, and deliver optimal user experiences. You'll have autonomy within your product team(s) while collaborating closely with a mature UX organization that includes content designers, product designers, and user researchers.
You will act as the
advocate for the end user , sharing your designs early and often, incorporating constructive feedback, and maintaining established UX and brand standards in all visual, interaction, and motion design work.
Key Responsibilities Work in an
agile environment
with a distributed team-participating in daily ceremonies and partnering with content designers, product owners, engineers, business stakeholders, marketers, analysts, and researchers. Analyze complex product requirements and
design innovative solutions
that address user and business needs while exceeding expectations. Collaborate with researchers to
identify, conduct, and integrate user feedback
through immersive research, concept testing, and usability studies. Coordinate across
multiple projects and work streams
to ensure a consistent and seamless experience within a complex product ecosystem. Synthesize information and feedback from multiple stakeholders, including finance, business SMEs, and process owners, into actionable design insights. Clearly articulate design decisions
to peers, stakeholders, and senior leadership. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years
of UX/Product Design experience. Hands-on experience with
FIGMA . Proficiency in at least two of the following disciplines, with familiarity in the others: Visual Design UX Design Prototyping Information Architecture Front-End Development User Research
Experience with Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Human-Centered Design methodologies. Strong
communication skills
(written, verbal, and presentation). Ability to translate moderately complex content into
user scenarios, flows, and diagrams . Proven track record of
collaborating with cross-functional teams . Online portfolio
with relevant UX work and/or case studies. Experience in
insurance claims
is a plus.
