Our client is a contract manufacturing company in the medical device industry seeking a
Quality Technician
to perform inspections and support quality control activities using visual and dimensional measurement tools, including coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Located in St. Paul, MN
Direct Hire Pay:
$20-25/hour Schedule:
Mon-Fri 1st shift
Key Responsibilities
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections following procedures and sampling plans. Perform first-piece and product inspections and document results accurately. Manage nonconformances, including creating and processing MRB/DMR reports. Evaluate returned goods and maintain control of inspection items. Provide training and guidance on quality standards and measurement techniques. Track and coordinate calibration of measuring and test equipment; perform internal audits. Maintain electronic inspection records and prepare quality reports. Adhere to safety practices and quality system requirements. Qualifications
High school diploma required; technical education preferred. 3-5 years manufacturing experience; medical device industry a plus. Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using inspection tools (calipers, CMM). Familiar with FDA GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards. Experience with Microsoft Office; ERP system experience beneficial. ASQ Quality Technician certification a plus.
