About the Role
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and procurement? We're looking for an experienced
IT Asset Manager
to lead sourcing strategies across software, hardware, telecom, and data center services. In this role, you'll be a trusted advisor to IT and business stakeholders, driving value through smart sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
You'll work cross-functionally with Legal, IT, and Finance to ensure alignment with business goals, while optimizing cost, performance, and risk across our global technology supply base.
What You'll Do
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Develop and execute category strategies for IT spend areas including software licensing, hardware, telecom, and data center services.
Lead RFPs and supplier selection processes using structured evaluation criteria.
Partner with Legal and IT to negotiate contracts that balance business needs, legal protections, and cost efficiency.
Analyze total cost of ownership (TCO), benchmark pricing, and support ROI assessments for technology investments.
Leverage market intelligence to identify cost drivers, trends, and sourcing opportunities.
Category & Stakeholder Management
Act as the subject matter expert for IT procurement, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels.
Translate business needs into actionable sourcing strategies that deliver measurable value.
Monitor industry trends and internal demand to build a pipeline of sourcing initiatives that support business growth and innovation.
Supplier & Contract Management
Manage key supplier relationships, ensuring performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with strategic vendors to drive accountability and results.
Resolve supplier disputes and ensure contract terms are enforced and optimized.
Collaborate with Legal to streamline contract lifecycle processes and ensure alignment with negotiated terms.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably in a global, technology-focused environment.
Deep knowledge of IT categories including software, hardware, telecom, and cloud/data center services.
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex commercial agreements (MSAs, SOWs, COs).
Proficiency with sourcing and contract management tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
Consulting experience is a plus.
