Summary
The Marketing Specialist supports the Association's marketing team by assisting branches in implementing effective marketing strategies. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to manage various marketing initiatives while collaborating with branch staff. **This position can be held at any of our locations in MS, AL or LA.
Responsibilities/Duties
• Develop and manage a year-long content marketing plan aligned with business goals.
• Use SEO tools to identify high-value topics and optimize content for search.
• Create and adapt content across written, video and social formats.
• Maintain editorial content and ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage the Association's social media presence across multiple platforms
• Manage the Association's Google Workplace profile
• Build a social media content calendar that aligns with strategic goals
• Source field content from branch staff and maintain brand voice
• Monitor and respond to direct messages, comments and review
• Develop and execute segmented email campaigns tailored to defined personas
• Repurpose content for email distribution to drive engagement
• Track and analyze key metrics.
• Implement A/B testing and maintain list hygiene.
• Partner with branch staff to launch localized paid social campaigns
• Create or coordinate short-form video content for targeted ads.
• Use lead data and geographic targeting to maximize campaign impact.
• Analyze and report on campaign performance.
• Maintain an calendar of sponsored and attended events across the Association
• Coordinate event registrations and marketing material distribution.
• Track and manage inventory of signage, banners, and bran ded materials.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in HubSpot, CRM systems, and content creation skills
• Experience in social media management preferred
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to travel for work conferences and branch visits as needed
