Substitute Floor Technician to work PRN (as needed).

Lakeview's Substitute Floor Technicianmaintains assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, attractive manner in accordance with established procedures, and as directed in order to ensure the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times.

Receive and follow cleaning schedule/instructions from your supervisor. Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as outlined for respective areas. Pick up and dispose of certain trash every morning and afternoon Dust-mop assigned areas Learn to operate FM20 buffer. Be responsible for room strip and waxing needs. Buff rooms as needed. Sweep, wet-mop and dining areas after meals. Be willing and able to learn how to strip and wax floors. Come in twice a year overnight to strip and waxing hallway floors Report all unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc. to your supervisor. Assist with delivery of incoming shipping orders and supplies Maintain stock in each utility closet for housekeeping supplies Qualifications

GED or High School diploma, preferred. Valid driver's license required. Minimum of 2 years of floor care experience preferred. The ability to follow/perform standard procedures to operate specific cleaning equipment including but not limited to buffers, strippers, vacuum cleaners, wet vacuum and extractor. May require working early morning and/or evening hours as well as weekends and holidays to ensure projects are completed to limit disruption to residents. Ability to read written documents, including but not limited to, Hazardous Material's labels, daily task sheets, and Material Safety Data Sheets. Possesses an empathetic approach to the elderly. Able to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others.
