Project Finance Senior Credit Analyst
The Project Finance Senior Credit Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Project Finance Portfolio Management team in underwriting, credit monitoring and portfolio management of a portfolio of clients where the repayment of the loan is based on cash flows generated by the related project (power/energy/renewables/solar). Responsibilities include: Assisting Portfolio Managers in underwriting certain aspects of proposed and existing transactions and assist in managing transactions according to the Bank's established guidelines and policies. Assisting in evaluating numerous transaction types across a broad array of power markets and energy sectors, conducting analysis of the borrowers, counterparties, and developing cash flow models. Developing and managing financial models analyzing the economics and risks associated with project financing structures. Providing assistance with Depository Agency services, such as preparing wire transfers and fielding internal and external depository inquiries. Ongoing monitoring of credit/covenant. Managing the renewal process by working with the Portfolio Managers, the client and the credit department for a variety of tasks such as credit line increases, amendments, and waivers of tripped covenants. Ensuring compliance with EWB regulatory and credit. Ensuring the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship follows established EWB credit policy, procedures, and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines. Assisting in the review of legal documentation for accuracy, and compliance with Credit approval requirements. Performing other administrative duties required for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients to be determined by the Portfolio Managers. Developing and maintaining knowledge of market. Qualifications include: Strong understanding of project finance (power/energy/renewables/solar). Ability to understand and advise on complex financial. Excellent verbal and written communication. Excellent interpersonal and customer service. Excellent organizational skills and attention to. Strong analytical and problem-solving. Strong Excel. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required; MBA. At least five years of experience in project. Compensation: The base pay range for this position is USD $67,000.00/Yr. - USD $95,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
