Senior Financial Analyst
Jim Moran and Associates, LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning and analysis. This role will focus on delivering high-impact insights through advanced modeling and strategic decision support. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scenario-based financial models to support long-range planning and executive decision-making Analyze actual results vs. budget and prior year to identify trends and variances Serve as a subject matter expert in Excel-based modeling, supporting capital expenditure requests and other financial evaluations Continuously improve modeling approaches and reporting tools to enhance accuracy and usability Create and maintain data visualization dashboards (e.g., balanced scorecards) to track KPIs and business performance Deliver timely, high-quality financial analysis and forecasting to support both operational and strategic initiatives Communicate complex financial insights clearly to senior leaders and non-financial stakeholders, offering data-driven recommendations Identify data gaps and proactively surface insights to improve business understanding Challenge existing processes and contribute to continuous improvement in financial planning Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field 57 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or planning Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to executives and influence decision-making Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial modeling and scenario planning is essential Intellectual curiosity and a proactive mindset This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of JM Family.
