Jm&a Compensation Manager

The JM&A Compensation Manager will lead and partner with a team of compensation subject matter experts to support the business unit. This role will serve as the lead point of contact in managing the JM&A relationship from a compensation perspective (includes variable pay calculations, administration of compensation policies and programs, etc.). Job Responsibilities

Manage compensation for JM&A, advising leadership on strategy, plan design, and modeling. Develop and enhance merit programs, bonus structures, and alternative rewards strategies. Maintain competitive compensation positioning through market data analysis. Lead a team of compensation professionals overseeing variable pay, policy administration, and program execution. Manage resource allocation and assignment of work. Ensure timely completion of daily, monthly, quarterly compensation activities resulting in on-time and accurate payout processing. Provide analytics, insights, and recommendations to JM&A leadership. Identify opportunities to streamline and simplify processes in collaboration with JM&A partners. Build capability in lean concepts, process efficiency, and simplification resulting in capacity gains and improved quality. Detail orientation with an eye for process innovation. Experience implementing improvement measurements across processes and people. Job Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of compensation or combination of compensation/finance experience. Minimum of 2 years managing, developing, and motivating a team. Preferred incentive compensation experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills for difficult and complex issues. Ability to present complex results in a clear, concise, and understandable manner. Highly organized and detail-oriented, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations. Strong influencing skills. Ability to consistently meet deadlines, and provide well-vetted reporting and business insights. Ability to translate business needs to technical teams. Establish and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
