Civil Engineering Project Manager
Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for civil engineering and transportation projects? We are seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to join a dynamic team in our Chicago office. This role offers the opportunity to lead and expand a significant transportation portfolio, working on diverse and impactful projects. Primary Responsibilities: Design and manage stormwater management and detention systems. Conduct hydraulics and hydrology modeling. Develop storm sewer designs and oversee grading and earthwork. Plan underground utilities and perform quantity takeoffs. Create construction specifications and details. Design roadways, intersections, and sidewalks. Engage in corridor development and concept planning. Support project management tasks, including budget and schedule oversight. Prepare comprehensive reports and plans with minimal supervision. Lead client meetings and facilitate internal coordination sessions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 48 years of civil engineering experience. P.E. license preferred but not mandatory. Experience with federally funded projects is highly desirable. Excellent project and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D. Strong communication skills with experience leading meetings. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience ($90K$110K).
