As a Park Prep Ambassador you will be responsible for cleaning restrooms, pathways and stadiums, you'll ensure an exemplary level of guest service, including engaging with guests and maintaining a clean and safe environment through the park. Working in a team environment, you will model a positive attitude, a high level of energy and an unyielding commitment to quality. You will: Maintain cleanliness of restroom/park areas Operate and maintain blow packs, pressure washers, vacuums, fire hoses, etc. Stock restroom supplies Hose and sweep patios at all culinary facilities Wipe tables and chairs at all culinary facilities Carries food trays to the tray room at all culinary facilities Maintain/organize storage closet Notify leadership of any supplies needed Special projects throughout the park (detailing umbrellas, tables, and chairs) Report any concerns or repair needs in restroom facilities Sweep debris from pathways while scanning landscape for trash Maintain hand washing stations Removes cobwebs, blows leaves, removed puddles on the pathways, and, at time, pressure washes Hoses, scrubs stains, scrapes gum, and pulls weed on pathways Empties trash cans and cigarette butt-urns Interact with guests and answer guest questions Complete opening and closing procedures Plunges clogged toilets Direct guests to attractions Assist with park emergencies, including inclement weather Assists other locations throughout the park as needed Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests Perform other duties as assigned What It Takes To Succeed:
Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to work 4:00am-12:30pm Operate pressure washers, trash compactors and drive vehicles. To drive vehicles, you must have a valid California driver's license and be able to meet requirements to drive SeaWorld Vehicles. What Else Is Important:
Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs. Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing) Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremes Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays Hours varies depending on the season and the business need. Able to work early mornings, late evenings and holidays.
