Join us and play an important part on our incredible team!What you get to do:As a Park Prep Ambassador you will be responsible for cleaning restrooms, pathways and stadiums, you'll ensure an exemplary level of guest service, including engaging with guests and maintaining a clean and safe environment through the park. Working in a team environment, you will model a positive attitude, a high level of energy and an unyielding commitment to quality. You will:Maintain cleanliness of restroom/park areasOperate and maintain blow packs, pressure washers, vacuums, fire hoses, etc.Stock restroom suppliesHose and sweep patios at all culinary facilitiesWipe tables and chairs at all culinary facilitiesCarries food trays to the tray room at all culinary facilitiesMaintain/organize storage closetNotify leadership of any supplies neededSpecial projects throughout the park (detailing umbrellas, tables, and chairs)Report any concerns or repair needs in restroom facilitiesSweep debris from pathways while scanning landscape for trashMaintain hand washing stationsRemoves cobwebs, blows leaves, removed puddles on the pathways, and, at time, pressure washesHoses, scrubs stains, scrapes gum, and pulls weed on pathwaysEmpties trash cans and cigarette butt-urnsInteract with guests and answer guest questionsComplete opening and closing proceduresPlunges clogged toiletsDirect guests to attractionsAssist with park emergencies, including inclement weatherAssists other locations throughout the park as neededCommunicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our GuestsPerform other duties as assignedWhat it takes to succeed:Must be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to work 4:00am-12:30pm (Sunday Availabilty is required)Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English.Operate pressure washers, trash compactors and drive vehicles.To drive vehicles, you must have a valid California driver's license and be able to meet requirements to drive SeaWorld Vehicles.What else is important:Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if neededPerform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat.
