Facility Maintenance Manager
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and operational integrity of our aerospace manufacturing facility in Midland, TX. This hands-on role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing preventative maintenance programs across production equipment, building systems, and critical infrastructure. Responsibilities: Develop and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, and manufacturing equipment. Maintain and optimize the facility's CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Schedule inspections, repairs, and service calls to minimize downtime. Conduct routine audits to ensure system functionality and safety compliance. Facility Management & Compliance: Oversee daily building operations including lighting, utilities, janitorial services, and waste removal. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other relevant regulations. Collaborate with internal departments to align facility operations with production goals. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate service contracts, and supervise third-party work. Project Management: Lead capital improvement and infrastructure upgrade projects. Prepare budgets, timelines, and reports for facility-related initiatives. Coordinate facility readiness for audits, inspections, and equipment installations. Team Leadership & Supervision: Hire, train, and manage maintenance technicians and custodial staff. Develop schedules, assign responsibilities, and coach team members. Implement safety programs and ensure adherence to PPE and company protocols. Qualifications: Required Experience: Minimum 7 years of facility or plant maintenance management experience, with at least 3 years in aerospace or automotive manufacturing. Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, robotics, HVAC, high-voltage electrical systems, and PLC-based equipment. Experience managing CMMS platforms and preventative maintenance systems. Proven success managing compliance programs (e.g., OSHA, ISO, ANSI). Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred. Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Building Operator Certification (BOC) is a plus. OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification preferred. Compensation: $110,000-$150,000 Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
