Duties: You will direct assignments to encourage employee development and cross-functional growth to meet organizational needs. You will assess and provide strategic direction for resolution of mission-critical problems, policies, and procedures. You will work with senior management to establish new fundamental concepts and criteria and stimulate the development of new policies, methodologies, and techniques. You will define, establish, and direct organizational focus on challenging and highly complex projects/programs. You will prepare, review, and approve major reports or policies of organization for internal and external distribution. You will assess and promulgate, fiscal, and other factors affecting customer and program/project needs. You will work with customer at management levels to resolve problems affecting programs/projects. You will formulate organizational strategies, tactics, and budget/action plan to acquire and allocate resources. You will develop and integrate innovative approaches to attain goals and minimize expenditures. Requirements: Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer designing, integrating, or sustaining a strategic weapon control system, performing technical management for requirement analysis, and works with leadership to develop new policies to achieve the organization's goals. OR Successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field, e.g., engineering technology, physics, chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, or geology, may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree in engineering, provided the applicant has had at least one year of professional engineering experience acquired under professional engineering supervision and guidance.
