As an Associate Risk Analyst at GE Appliances, you'll be at the heart of our commercial account operations, working with both new and existing customers in our Retail and Contract spaces. You'll play a vital role in setting up new accounts, underwriting lines of credit, and utilizing your sharp analytical skills to assess potential risks. This is a chance to make a real impact on our business while fostering trust and growth with our valued clientele. How You'll Create Possibilities

Reviews external credit reports, bank references, financial statements, lien rights, and other security instruments to prepare recommendations on open account lines of credit for Retail and Contract customers. Partners with Retail and Contract Sales customers to obtain needed information and articulate what is needed to set up new accounts and review existing accounts. Ensures all information is collected and in place with sound credit analysis in collaboration with Risk Manager to set open account lines of credit. Performs "Know Your Customer" (KYC) routines as a part of due diligence for new and existing Retail and Contract customers. Researches and screens "Anti-Money Laundering" (AML) red flag concerns, working with Shared Services along with Retail and Contract Sales teams to mitigate any concerns. Balances both proactive reviews of customer credit lines as well as credit line reviews of customers open orders with credit line capacity issues for Retail and Contract customers. Develops and monitors tools and metrics to proactively assess Retail and Contract risk for an assigned portfolio of accounts. Develops capabilities in Oracle ERP functionality and processes along with engaging with Shared Services teams as well as outside teams to accomplish and drive results. Provides ongoing support (and may serve as a backup at times) to their reporting Manager by facilitating training and overseeing daily workflow management of team members. Presents basic financial findings to stakeholders, translating technical terms into accessible language and seeking feedback to ensure mutual understanding. Possesses broad theoretical knowledge of the job, generally acquired through advanced education. Supports the development of foundational financial models and forecasts by gathering and analyzing relevant data, applying standard methodologies, and ensuring inputs are accurate and aligned with business assumptions. Performs recurring finance tasks such as journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations with a strong focus on data accuracy, completeness, and meeting process deadlines. Collaborates with cross-functional partners to understand operational needs and provide accurate financial data support, ensuring alignment with shared objectives and flagging potential discrepancies. Adheres to established compliance protocols by accurately executing routine control activities, contributing to audit readiness, and escalating issues that may impact financial integrity. Educational and Experiential Background Holds a University Degree or equivalent experience (less than 2 years), reflecting a foundational understanding of the field. Our Culture
