Journeyman Plumber - Fort Worth, Tx
Up to $40/hr Job Description
Join our team as a Journeyman Plumber, where you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems and plumbing fixtures. You will inspect connections and other parts for leaks, replace defective pipes, and solder or caulk leaks and broken pipes. Your role will include cutting, bending, and threading pipe, fitting valves and couplings to pipe sections by screwing, bolting, or soldering. You will also wipe lead joints and install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, emergency eye-washes, special laboratory equipment, and water heaters. Additionally, you will repair autoclaves and other sterilizing equipment, hot water units, and gas heaters, ensuring their safe operation. You will assist in estimating and maintain required time and material records for each job, utilize PPE, and protect job sites from sewer line discharge or spillage. Responsibilities

Expertise in plumbing installation and unclogging sinks, drains, and toilets. Proficiency in working with PVC piping, copper, and welding. Experience in building maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams. Additional Skills & Qualifications
