Financial Analysts play a key role in managing financial results within Boston Scientific's Cardiology Group, a growing $8B+ global business. The Financial Analyst II will provide operating expense support for the high-growth ICTx division. Responsibilities include supporting the ICTx Marketing, Admin, and Distribution functions for the US-Division HQ P&L. The Financial Analyst II will be responsible for monthly headcount and expense reporting, forecast and planning for Strat Plan, Annual Operating Plan, and F-cycle submissions. This position requires a person with strong technical skills with attention to detail, who values data organization and quality. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, and career driven. Key Responsibilities
Reports directly to the Finance Manager of US ICTx P&L Supports preparation of operating expense plans (Strategic, Annual Operating, Forecast) and close (monthly/quarterly) cycles in partnership with financial leadership and cross functional leaders Prepares monthly and quarterly accrual and cross-charge journal entries, and account reconciliations Work cross functionally with Marketing, Med-Ed, HEMA, and Other Admin function leaders to develop and manage operating expense and headcount plans Monthly reporting and presenting of expenses and headcount results for Marketing, Admin, and Distribution functions Collaborate and communicate effectively with finance leadership Required Qualifications
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 3+ years relevant experience Strong focus on data accuracy with an appreciation for details, quality of work, and process improvement Strong winning spirit, integrity, and appreciation for fostering a diverse business environment Highly collaborative, team-orientated, and career-driven Executive presence and excellent communication skills Strong organization skills and ability to deliver on competing priorities Prior experience performing monthly and quarterly "actual vs plan/forecast" variance analyses Prior experience with presenting financial results and forecasts to leadership Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion, and SAP a plus The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
