Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Sr. Technical Analyst - Strategy & Data to join our Infomediary Systems team. Main Responsibilities: Develop clear, concise documents & presentation materials, which require proficiency in interviewing skills, workflow analysis, dataflow diagramming, screen design, etc. Translate and present technical concepts into effective visual images which clarify design elements and issues for both business and technical audiences Identify, mediate, resolve and eliminate miscommunications between business and technical project team members Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results Stay current with business needs and strategies and manage relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results Support and align efforts to meet business needs Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; determining daily priorities; following proper escalation paths Organize, track, and update progress on projects throughout their entire life cycle. Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) Research and evaluate new technology solutions and present recommendations for improved system operations Requirements: BA/BS degree and/or related work experience, preferably in Information Systems or related field 5+ years of experience documenting specifications, technical concepts, white papers, etc. Financial Services experience is a plus Technical/programming background or experience working with development teams is a plus Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests Strong time management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills Data analysis
Must have proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel Ability to create presentations using software such as Microsoft PowerPoint Exposure to project work and project planning, as well as project management software Very strong analytical skills required Critical thinking, problem solving is a must Excellent written and oral communications skills Interviewing skills We value diverse experiences.
