Lingo Staffing is looking to hire a Bilingual Office Assistant for a construction company located in New Haven, CT! Hours:
8am-5pm Monday-Friday
Pay:
$22-25 (depending on experience) The responsibilities of the office assistant are:
-Provide administrative support to the office as well as dispatch/logistics team
-Schedule and coordinate shipments, deliveries, and pickups
-Monitor and manage trucking GPS and tracking systems
-Assist with route planning and driver assignments
-Maintain up-to-date records of fleet activity, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules
-Communicate with drivers regarding dispatch instructions and delivery requirements
-Track shipments and update clients with delivery statuses
-Prepare and process shipping documents, invoices, and compliance paperwork
-Respond to customer inquiries and resolve service issues
-Maintain an organized filing system (physical and electronic)
-Support general office tasks including answering phones, data entry, and ordering supplies The
responsibilities/qualifications
of the office assistant are:
-Minimum of 2-3 years office administration experience
-Proven reliability
-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
-Experience using QuickBooks
-Bilingual Spanish -
