Orchestra is seeking an experienced Senior Executive Assistant to support a Principal within one of Orchestra's leading PR agencies. This role will be instrumental in providing high-level administrative support while also serving as a strategic operational partner, ensuring the Principal's time, priorities, and engagements are aligned to drive the firm's success. We are looking for someone who brings sharp organizational instincts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities with discretion and confidence. You will be a trusted partner who anticipates needs, manages logistics, and helps create the structure that enables the Principal to focus on client impact, business growth, and team leadership. This role is ideal for a highly organized and proactive professional with experience supporting senior executives in fast-paced environments such as communications, professional services, legal, consulting, or adjacent fields. Candidates with a blend of executive support and operational project management experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis, 4-5 days per week. As an Executive Assistant, you will: Provide strategic and high-level administrative support to the Principal, including complex calendar management, meeting preparation and follow-up, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders Serve as a gatekeeper and trusted partner, prioritizing time and engagements to ensure alignment with business and client priorities Anticipate operational and administrative needs, proactively managing logistics, materials, and communications to ensure seamless day-to-day operations Manage and coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements, including itineraries, accommodations, and logistics Prepare, review, and track expense reports, invoices, and related administrative documentation Support the Principal with operational projects such as team meeting planning, internal communications, organizational updates, and project tracking Partner with the broader leadership team to ensure the Principal is equipped with materials, context, and resources for client meetings, internal initiatives, and firm-wide priorities Handle confidential information with integrity, discretion, and professionalism Act as a culture and team connector, helping to organize team-building moments, staff engagement activities, and internal communications in partnership with leadership Essential skills: 5+ years of experience supporting senior executive(s) in a fast-paced, high-growth environment such as communications, professional services, law, consulting, or similar fields Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, anticipate needs, and execute with high attention to detail Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with executives, clients, and stakeholders Proactive problem-solver with strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic, evolving environment Highly resourceful with the ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams Expert multitasker who thrives in high-pressure situations and can juggle competing priorities without losing sight of deadlines Technically proficient across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools; familiarity with Emburse, Slack, or similar platforms is a plus Integrity, reliability, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion are non-negotiable Preferred skills: Experience in the public relations, media, legal, or professional services sectors Familiarity with organizational systems such as expense management platforms (Emburse, etc.), project management tools, and communication platforms Salary (commensurate with experience and skills): $120,000 - $130,000 Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents Pre-tax commuter benefits 401K with a 4% employer match and no vesting period Generous paid time off Mobile phone reimbursement for data and minutes Employer-funded life insurance Discounted annual bikeshare membership Corporate discounts through Tickets at Work
