Foundations Behavioral Health in Doylestown, PA is currently hiring a full-time Food Service Assistant (40 hrs per week) to help prepare food items, unit packing, and food distribution to units for breakfast, lunch, dinner meals according to RD and FSM approved menus. Assists with dietary restrictions as needed for patients. Cleans serving area and equipment in kitchens. Food Service Assistant utilizes proper hygiene, food handling, storage techniques to ensure safe food source for patients. Completes sanitation of unit's refrigerators, ovens, and stoves. Requires every other weekend commitment and every other holiday. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to read and write English and complete simple mathematical calculations to alter recipes and portion sizes. One year of serving experience preferred. Experience in psychiatric setting and/or with adolescents helpful.
