whether by collaborating on innovative solutions, tackling challenges with optimism, or pushing boundaries with creativity and courage. What You Will Do: Direct the underwriting strategy, process, planning, reporting, forecasting, business development and innovation for the Cyber insurance book of business Underwrite, price, and negotiate risks in a manner that is consistent with Relm's risk appetite to ensure profitability, retention, and written premium goals are achieved Provide a professional layer of leadership, mentorship, and management to the underwriting team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting continued growth, training, and development of junior underwriting and administrative staff Negotiate, prepare, and draft policy and endorsement wording Create and develop relationships with brokers and policyholders to establish new distribution relationships and sales channels Attend and occasionally present at industry conferences, as needed and as the opportunity presents itself Collaborate with colleagues to achieve company goals and drive cross-sell opportunities Assist with strategic underwriting planning by developing and maintaining suitable management information to effectively evaluate the portfolio Maintain compliance with all internal and external underwriting and regulatory guidelines, standards, and legal requirements Engage in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned to contribute to the continuous improvement and growth of Relm
