Temporary Law Clerk

Berry Appleman & Leiden is seeking a law clerk for a temporary assignment. Responsibilities include assisting our legal team in preparing Regional Templates for our clients and legal teams. You must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize and multi-task, possess excellent communication skills and be experienced in MS Word. Primary responsibilities, under the supervision of Practice Manager, Team Manager, or Attorney, include assisting our legal team in preparing corporate immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions and other immigration applications. Secondary responsibilities include other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager, Team Manager, or Attorney. Qualifications: You must be detail-oriented; able to prioritize and multi-task; and possess excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills. Second or third year law school student or recent law school graduate awaiting Bar results. Some business immigration experience is preferred, but not required. Some government and/or public policy experience is preferred, but not required. Note: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
