Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine is currently recruiting for a Therapeutic Area Lead for our Neuroscience Business, located in Titusville, New Jersey. The Therapeutic Area Lead will be responsible for ensuring US strategic oversight of early assets and business development our Neuroscience business, and the role will report to President, US Neuro and Canada and Puerto Rico. The Therapeutic Area Lead will be responsible for several areas including but not limited to: Oversee team that leads the US Integrated Strategy Teams (IST) which provide GCSO an aligned US input to compound strategy, clinical development plans & stage gate decisions. Lead the development of a US launch readiness plan across assets, in conjunction with the US IST, prior to creation of an in-line marketing team including development of preliminary US positioning, differentiation, value proposition & pricing strategy, as well as novel go-to-market models. Support the commercial evaluation of business development opportunities Represent US on Global Commercial Teams (GCT) and provide input to Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO) on development of global vision, positioning; trademark and branding, and key pre-launch initiatives. Key Competencies: Strategic thinking, strong communication and cross-functional collaboration. Work without established blueprint. Ensure facts and analogs guide the path forward. Drive decisions based on insights. Keep up-to-date with the evolving healthcare markets. Identify and understand future unmet needs. Demonstrate capacity for strategic thinking and learning agility Communicate complex information in simple terms. Manage complexity across multiple projects Strong problem-solving skills & able to work in ambiguous situations Demonstrate organizational awareness and leverage network. Foster collaboration and influence cross-functional partners to develop one aligned US voice Create value for organization by championing innovation and risk taking. Understand the Clinical Development, Regulatory and Promotional process & environment Qualifications: BA/BS Required; MBA Preferred Minimum 12 years pharmaceutical business experience is required Pharmaceutical marketing is strongly preferred Launch experience strongly preferred Ability to develop strategy and build business case for new opportunities including market overview, analytics, forecast development, commercial resourcing Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to provide succinct & insightful communication to drive decisions. Neuroscience/ Novel Therapy experience preferred. People management experience required Experience working with R&D, medical affairs, global & inline marketing, market access, analytics/finance, & supply chain preferred.
