what you do and what you think matters. Summary: Processes all customer orders, handling changes and issues as they arise. Maintains Excel files for customer order information. Answers main phone line and directs callers as needed. Greets visitors professionally, determines their needs and directs them to the appropriate party. Minimal administrative duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Enters all customer orders in Excel and SAP daily, verifying pricing. Covers orders on weekends on a rotating schedule with the rest of Accounting Department. Maintains master trailer log files, updating with pricing monthly. Enters monthly pricing in customer websites. Maintains visitor log in the lobby and greets all visitors. Distributes mail daily. Performs various technical support duties such as information gathering, reporting, tracking, and researching. Receives and responds to routine correspondence following established procedures. Works as the primary point of contact on special projects as needed. Provides excellent customer service for any customer requests and order changes as needed. Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion. Works closely with plant shipping manager and other managers to ensure all paperwork has been processed daily. Communicates to department managers concerning problems with customer orders. Data entry. File and maintain customer files, ensuring they are kept in an orderly fashion. Responds to customer inquiries via phone, fax, and email regarding orders. Other duties as assigned. Basic Requirements: At least a high school degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of related experience. At least 2 years of experience with data entry, and completing data reconciliation. At least 2 years of experience interfacing with customers regarding orders and providing positive resolutions. At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, Power Point, Excel). Experience with order management software, SAP experience preferred.
