As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned area, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will be expected to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity, while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to all individuals you encounter. This position requires you to be armed, and you will be trusted to handle this responsibility with care and respect. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 05:45 AM - 02:15 PM Tue 05:45 AM - 02:15 PM Wed 05:45 AM - 02:15 PM Thur 05:45 AM - 02:15 PM Fri 05:45 AM - 02:15 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or security-related hazards, reporting findings as required by site protocols. Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while upholding site-specific rules and regulations. Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies. Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
