Budget Financial Management/Financial Analyst
Trident Technologies and Consulting - Global, LLC is currently seeking motivated and talented individuals who can offer the knowledge, skills, and experience to support the United States Navy in administrating the PMS 408 Naval Expeditionary Programs (EXM) Professional Support Services program. PMS 408 requires services to support the research, development, acquisition, and support of several programs including CREW, JEOD, UWEOD, ExMed, ATA, and other future programs that are assigned to PMS 408. Responsibilities
Collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government. Define the nature and extent of problems. Analyze relevant data, which may include annual revenues, employment, cost performance, schedule or expenditures. Interview managers and employees while observing their operations. Develop solutions to problems. In the course of preparing recommendations, understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture. Prepare and solve mathematical models. Report findings and recommendations to the Government. Reports are usually submitted in writing, but oral presentations regarding findings also are common. For some projects, management analysts are retained to help implement the suggestions they have made. Required Qualifications
Active SECRET clearance
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university -- OR-8 years Gov Financial Management Experience
Expert working knowledge of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)/ Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)/ Mechanization of Contract Administration Services (MOCAS) accounting and disbursing systems
Sound working knowledge of Navy program and budget processes
Expert working knowledge of managing obligations and expense rates to ensure compliance with OSD targets
Demonstrated working experience developing and managing yearly spend plans
Demonstrated working experience developing POM/BES inputs
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products/services, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Desired Qualifications
Graduate degree in business or financial management related discipline
Demonstrated work experience as a senior financial analyst within the NAVSEA Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/ DoD Contracting environment; preferably as a Business Financial Manager (BFM) or as a contract support analyst to a NAVSEA BFM supporting a MPM's office Supplemental Information
