The
Senior Product Manager
manages all aspects of the product life cycle for existing products, supports new product development and launches, and analyzes product line financial metrics and cost targets.
Primary Responsibilities
Supports the development and overall execution of Product Roadmaps and Product Line strategies Develops requirements for new products and changes for existing products based on industry and market analysis Plans, leads, and actively manages the process of introducing new products to the market Develops marketing strategies for profitably gaining market share in targeted markets Collaborates in a cross-functional environment with engineering, product development, operations, quality and marketing communications to implement new product designs and features in a timely manner Establishes cost targets and participates in product pricing and sales forecasting Recognizes new business opportunities and leads the effort to justify new investments Provides business development support and technical expertise to the Sales team Conducts periodic competitive/market analyses and stays current with relevant technical changes in the industry Works with the marketing communications team to develop marketing collateral materials, advertising and other sales tools for product line Interfaces regularly with senior management for product line reviews Attends trade shows and industry events as needed to support marketing initiatives This is a hybrid role with an option to be remote. Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or Business Management Experience Requirements
Seven (7) years of related product management experience Experience in successfully supporting sales teams with business insights, sales tools, product specification/selection materials, training, and product presentations Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively present information to top management, customers, and vendors Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to effectively and efficiently manage and keep projects on-track Computer Equipment and Software Requirements
Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Communications products and/or premise fiber experience
