What You'll Do The Director of Recruiting & Admissions oversees Admissions to include application processing, residency determinations, Workday engagements, waivers, and daily operations of all recruitment activities both on and off campus. Responsibilities include K-12 outreach, dual enrollment, and all K-12 grants related to Student Affairs. The role provides training for staff, oversees all marketing and communications efforts related to College outreach and programming, and manages admissions processes from inquiry to student integration. Additionally, this position collaborates with administration and departments to promote the College, and works to attract and retain students. Duties also include assisting the Dean of Enrollment Services with development, implementation, and administration of the College recruitment plan, overseeing community recruitment, and reviewing and updating departmental processes, including those for limited access programs. Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for: Oversees the Admissions functions to include application, residency, Workday engagements, and waivers. Enhance current engagements and communication to lessen the number of admissions calls to the Call Center. Provides outreach and recruitment support for recruitment staff including distance education, degree and certificate programs, and off-site service centers; communicating with prospective students in person, on the phone, and virtually; coordinating tracking and communications with students during the admissions process; guiding students through the application, admission, orientation and registration processes; providing pre-collegiate and career advising to prospective students; managing ongoing contact and good public relations with students, staff and the community. Increase the number of collaborative partnerships and visibility within district to maximize resources and meet the needs of potential students. (In line with Strategic Priorities). Supervises, manages, and trains admissions staff, recruitment staff, dual enrollment staff, outreach grant managers, update training materials. Reviews and interprets placement and other standardized test scores, unofficial transcripts, and course prerequisites; interprets degree audits; provides guidance on degree/certificate graduation requirements; provides students with appropriate paths of study in order to achieve their educational goals; and manages high school and home school dual enrollment registration and advising each semester. Supports and oversees all marketing and communications efforts directly related to the College outreach and programming, without the information regarding student ambassadors. Performs other related duties as assigned. Who We're Looking For We're seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have: A Master's degree in counseling, education or a related area from an accredited college or university. Six (6) years of related experience working in a postsecondary institution, and one (1) year of supervisory experience, which may run concurrent with the required experience.
