The Multifamily Escrow Officer is responsible for the following: Creating and preparing invoices tied to multifamily escrow and reserve accounts. Ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of property taxes, insurance premiums, reserve for replacement and other escrow/reserve-related items. Working closely with Financial Analysts, Insurance Officer, and Accounting division to ensure a smooth transaction process. Create and prepare invoices for escrow and reserve accounts. Ensure correct balances, due dates, and disburse funds for taxes, insurance, and other escrow/reserve accounts in a timely manner. Process and track payments for property taxes, insurance premiums, and reimbursement requests. Verify invoices/request memos, confirm due dates, and communicate with Financial Analysts, Insurance Officer, and accounting division. Create contracts and billing schedules in Workday. Prepare monthly invoices and statements to send to multifamily properties. Work with external partners for electronic billing enrollment. Conduct periodic escrow analysis to ensure proper funding and prevent shortages or overages. Adjust escrow payments as needed. Communicate with Financial Analysts and Insurance Officer regarding escrow balances, disbursements, changes in tax or insurance costs, and escrow analysis results. Assist Insurance Officer regarding insurance premium renewal tracking and ProLink reports. Coordinate with internal divisions on escrow-related issues, including property transfers, insurance claims, and payment disputes. Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy. Prepare periodic reports on escrow performance and compliance metrics. Assisting Housing Management and Accounting division on any other job-related assignments on an as needed basis. Qualifications: 25 years of experience in escrow, mortgage servicing, or loan administration, with emphasis on multifamily or commercial properties. Strong understanding of escrow accounting, insurance policies, and property tax structures. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrate proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Workday accounting experience is preferred. EEO Statement
