Non-academic student assistant focused on supporting the Department of Pediatrics at Dell Medical School Responsibilities
Data collection from patients or data extraction from electronic patient records for clinical research studies and entry into electronic data capture systems File study-related documents in appropriate study binders Assist with preparation of study documents for study monitoring and auditing Create and maintain spreadsheets and workflows in Smartsheet and MS Excel for various projects as assigned Research and interpret regulatory and legal documentation for study file long-term storage Draft, review, test execution of standard operational procedures for conduct of clinical research Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.) Working knowledge of Google G Suite Apps (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, G Drive file storage, Google Meet, Google Chat, etc.) Must be onboarded via Ascension to access data (requires background check, drug screen, vaccinations). Can be done once hired but is a mandatory requirement. Mature, able to deliver with little to no direct supervision once trained. Responsible person with excellent communication skills. Comfortable talking with physicians and high-level leadership. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications
Experience writing and editing professional communications for publication Experience working with REDCap, Smartsheet, Eloqua or Adobe Already-approved status with Ascension Salary Range $12.00 Hourly Undergraduate $13.00 Hourly Graduate Working Conditions
May work in extreme temperatures May work around standard office conditions Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation Use of manual dexterity Working with highly confidential personal healthcare information. Strict standards to maintain patient confidentiality are essential.
