Student Accounts Receivable is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented work-study student employee to provide support for the Perkins and Institutional loan departments. The student worker will assist with clerical work and office operations. This position is only open to UT Work Study Students. Responsibilities

Data entry - Enter notes in RPC for various manual processes such as monthly emails to past due accounts MP01 through MP05. Prepare and mail Perkins loan paid in full letters and exit counseling packets. Fold and insert correspondence to be mailed for institutional and federal loans, includes daily, weekly and monthly statements and letters. Verify collection agency turnover reports to make sure balances are accurate and post weekly collection agency invoices and prepare vouchers. Access the National Student Clearinghouse website to see if past due Perkins and Murray Case Sells borrowers are past due. Filling for loans includes file purging according to records retention schedule. Download and verify collection agency reports for closed and returned accounts to verify status as MPCA or PIF. Also review for any address changes to be made in NRRECS. Process returned mail - skip tracing using AlumniFnder. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. Salary Range

Maximum of 19 hours per week, exact schedule can be determined by student and manager. The end of this work-study assignment is December 31, 2025.
