Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to expand our Inspection business in Washington DC. Responsibilities include lead generation, building relationships with inspection clients, and collaborating with the branch office to grow sales. You will serve as the company ambassador, promoting our inspection services and delivering excellent customer service to exceed sales goals.
Ideal candidates will benefit from our team's technical expertise, aiding in understanding the Fire Protection and Security industry. Prior industry experience is beneficial but not required. We prioritize candidates who excel in customer relationships and thrive in fast-paced team environments, focusing on developing new clients and onboarding new customers in Washington DC.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote fire sprinkler, fire alarm, special hazards, and fire extinguisher inspections.
Proactively prospect using cold calling, networking, and referrals to find new opportunities.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
Conduct site surveys, negotiate inspection agreements, and secure customer contracts.
Work with the Corporate Inspection Sales Leader and branch to develop sales strategies and meet revenue goals.
Participate in industry groups and events to expand connections.
Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
Prepare sales reports and forecasts in collaboration with leadership.
Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance industry knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence customers.
Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets; able to work independently and in teams.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills, focused on building long-term relationships and customer service.
At least 2 years of successful outside sales experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
High school diploma or GED required; degree in Business, Marketing, or related preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid driver’s license.
Base salary range: $60,000–$85,000, dependent on experience.
