Due to continued growth, we are hiring an Outside Sales Representative to expand our Inspection business in Washington DC. Key responsibilities include lead generation, building relationships with inspection clients, and driving sales growth in collaboration with the branch office. You will serve as the company's ambassador, promoting our inspection services while providing excellent customer service to exceed sales targets.
Candidates will benefit from our team's extensive technical knowledge of the Fire Protection and Security industry. Prior industry experience is advantageous but not required. We prioritize candidates who excel in customer relationship management and thrive in fast-paced team environments. The role focuses on developing new client relationships and onboarding new customers in the Washington DC area.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote fire sprinkler, fire alarm, special hazards, and fire extinguisher inspections.
Proactively prospect using cold calling, networking, and referrals to identify new opportunities.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
Conduct site surveys, negotiate inspection agreements, and secure signed contracts.
Collaborate with the Corporate Inspection Sales Leader and branch team to develop sales strategies, set goals, and achieve revenue and margin targets.
Participate in industry groups and events to expand connections.
Stay informed about industry trends, market shifts, and competitors to identify emerging opportunities.
Prepare and review sales reports, forecasts, and related documentation.
Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance industry knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively.
Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
Minimum of 2 years of successful outside sales experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
High school diploma or GED; degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid driver’s license.
Base salary ranges from $60,000 to $85,000, depending on experience.
