We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join Desert View Cardiology and Consulting PC in New Rochelle, NY. Our community health center is dedicated to providing accessible, culturally competent mental health services to individuals and families, promoting mental wellness and holistic care.
Schedule: Full-time, regular hours from 9 am to 5 pm.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions.
Provide medication management and monitor treatment effectiveness.
Collaborate with primary care providers and team members for integrated care.
Offer crisis intervention and emotional support.
Participate in community outreach and mental health awareness initiatives.
Provide counseling and psychoeducation.
Maintain accurate, confidential patient records adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
State licensure as an APRN with psychiatric specialization.
Experience in a community health setting preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: $200,000 to $250,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
