The Venue Director I manages their assigned venue, maintaining profitability and achieving sales and operational goals while delivering top-tier customer service to hotel partners, clients, and team members. This role involves creating a culture of achievement, supporting diversity, and cultivating strong venue relationships. Business hours vary, including weekends, with minimal travel required. The role requires a strategic understanding aligned with company values. Essential Functions
Lead all event phases, ensuring exceptional customer service. Manage floor operations efficiently, including setup and strike of equipment. Review P&L statements to ensure profitability; control expenses effectively. Maintain inventory integrity—quality, functionality, and organization. Participate in hotel meetings as needed. Stay informed of industry trends, tools, and innovations. Build and maintain strong relationships with venue partners. Represent Pinnacle Live at hotel meetings and client visits. Ensure timely payment of payables and billing processes, complying with SOPs. Utilize sales processes to maximize revenue and improve capture rates. Train, manage, and develop team members per SOPs, fostering service excellence and growth. Use and improve company systems and technical skills. Provide technical support for events as needed. Delegate tasks effectively. Comply with safety protocols and SOPs. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent. At least 3 years of management experience in AV or hospitality preferred. Proven ability to lead teams toward common goals. Excellent communication skills for building long-term relationships. Required Skills & Knowledge
Strong technical aptitude. Proficiency with computer hardware and software. Planning and prioritization skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Organizational skills with attention to detail. Team-oriented mindset. Professional appearance. Benefits
