What will I do as a MIT with Insomnia Cookies? Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, and Delivery Drivers) in the absence of the manager Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling Hold staff accountable to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies, etc.) Ensure all team members excel in upselling and customer service Desired skills/experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly support staff Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems Availability to work a 4-5 day week with 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun) Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the US About us: Insomnia Cookies was founded in a college dorm by Seth Berkowitz.
